Ladies and Gentleman, Welcome to London Fashion Week 2012

Today designers, models, fashionistas and wannabe-fashionistas will descend on my beloved city for the opening of London Fashion Week 2012. The city will be filled with skinny supermodels,  outrageous outfits (and people for that matter!) and loads of cameras capturing the gorgeous moments and sometimes not so gorgeous moments. Don’t get me wrong, I like fashion but I am not a devoted and come-hell-or-high-water follower. Seriously, can some of those what seems to be pieces of fabric thrown together in an ‘artistic moment’ really be called fashion?
