Tones, textures and test shots

While I was out and about last week I decided to continue exploring my camera’s functions by taking different types of pictures and trying out new things. I managed to take some interesting and not so bad pictures so I am really pleased, however I still need to go a long way to reach the point where I can completely use the camera to it’s full potential. Faces

This week was a mix of miserable joy if there is anything that exists like that. I decided to take a few days off from work to relax and to do things that I am unable to do during a normal work week. Secretly I hoped the weather will be good so I can pop out with my camera, however I woke up on Wednesday, my first day off, it looked like the heavens opened up, and stayed opened (and still is open!) so refusing to let that spoil my mini-break I had to resort to indoorsy stuff. I went to the British Museum (again!) and took some fantastic pictures of faces, faces that have been frozen in time – my inspiration for today’s post.   (more…)
