Manscaping: the art of male grooming

Did you know a recent survey revealed 47% of people who have a regular skincare and grooming routine are more successful in life, so where does the average man stand on this face-off? Grooming has always been a fairly important part of my life and personally I think it’s probably one of the most important parts of a modern man’s life in this day and age, although it still does not get the recognition it needs. Long gone are the days where ‘moisturiser’ and ‘mascara’ were the unspoken words amongst men and now it’s hard not to notice male grooming products anywhere you go. Very recently I stumbled upon a number of great male grooming blogs which all offers great advice and reviews on fantastic grooming products for men. One of these is the Pampered Prince, an amazing blogger and a big supporter of British beauty brands offering his readers a glorious and very insightful look at the world of ‘manscaping’. The bit I don’t like about Easter

I genuinely like Easter. It’s a time of families getting together, participating in fun egg hunting expeditions and eating loads of chocolate without being frowned upon but what I don’t like about it is when it ends, when you wake up and realise today is the last day of holiday before an ever so slightly heavier version of yourself will head back to the grind in less than 24 hours.   (more…)

Happiness

As a young adult (which I am sadly not anymore) I didn’t know what the definition of happiness was. Yes, I got excited about stuff like getting a new mobile phone from the parental units, buying something I really wanted and getting a party invitation but I don’t think I understood what happiness was until much later in life.   (more…)
