Yesterday morning armed with my camera and maps I set out again for the second round of my Big Egg Hunt in London. Last week I went around the City hunting eggs and this week I decided to hit the buzzling areas of Carnaby Street, Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. A rainy day turned into a sunny day and people were out in their masses ! Along the way I met a number of other ‘egg hunters’ and so the epic adventure began…
It was incredibly busy with loads of people everywhere so it was a bit more challenging to spot the eggs but thankfully I found about 35 eggs. Considering there are over 200 all over London, I still have a long way to go. It involved loads of walking and having to fight my way through the crowds but it was all worth it. Afterwards we ended up in a pub, celebrating another ‘eggstatic’ day of Egg Hunting! Next week I will head on out to Green Park and Knightsbridge.

Wow!! This sounds so amazing! An instant tour around the city.
) I wish there were activities like those here. :O
Yes, that is exactly what it is.
Loving it and there is only a few weeks left before the eggs go on auction so will go out again this weekend and do some more hunting…
I love this. Had no idea about egg hunting in London, lol. But I am more impressed with your photo blog. Absolutely wonderful pictures.Great job!
Thank you! The Egg Hunt is great fun and there are loads of people out there doing it. Thanks for the comment on my photoblog – it’s all just random pics I take while out and about. Appreciate your comments! Keep an eye on it for regular updates…
I´m going this weekend. It´s going to be egg-staticly brilliant fun! I bet I can find more than 35. Bets?
Hahaha! If you visit all the zones in one day yes. I’ve only ‘hunted’ three zones so far. Will attempt another two this weekend and considering there are 12 zones in total, I still have a long way to go. Be prepared to do loads of walking!
I am looking forward to it!! I´ll let you know.
Around 10! I blame it on the chatting… xDD
